Joy Taylor died at 2:05 12/21/19
After months of struggling against all odds: radiation therapy and surgeries, lung cancer finally won the battle.
It is a great loss for me but the agony of watching Joy decline was the worst feeling I will ever have.
Now that trial is over and she will live in my heart forever.
Joy was the bravest woman I have ever known. She faced terminal cancer with the courage of a soldier.
Joy’s kind and easygoing ways made her a delight to know.
Chef Dean Kasner wrote, “John, we are all deeply sorry for your loss. It is indeed our loss and know that we burn a candle of loving memory for Joy and hold both of you in our hearts, always. We all had many memorable moments together, whether in your kitchen, and Wolf Creek Inn”.
Music Director Martin Majkut said. “the world is a poorer place now.”
Thanks to all my friends for their kind words and condolences.
