Alan P Robinson

Alan Paul Robinson, 69, passed away May 17, 2017 at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass, Oregon after a long illness. May his Spirit soar free from pain and suffering. He was born on July 3, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois to Paul and Arlene Robinson. Alan graduated from Lassen Forestry College, Susanville, California in 1969. His career was with the Oregon Forest Service and BLM. He had a passion for planting pine seedlings and fighting forest fires. During his retirement he spent many summers with his dog living in remote fire towers reporting forest fires. Alan loved hunting chucker birds with his Brittney Spaniels in the Steen Mountains in S/E Oregon where his remains will be scattered per his request. Alan is survived by his much loved son, Travis, daughter-in-law, Kelly, granddaughter, Fiona, grandson, Jack of Murphy, sister Marla Outfleet of Medford, sister, Gail Ritchie of Applegate and his beloved friend of 44 years, Anita O'Rourke, of Medford, Oregon who took care of him his last 5 years.
