Allan Lee Schmidt

Allan L. Schmidt of Grants Pass, Or. passed away on Dec. 31, 2022. Born on August 1, 1951 to Joe & Betty Schmidt, who preceded him in death, in Ft. Collins, Co., he spent his childhood working on the farm. He enlisted in the U.S. Army, spending his time in Vietnam as an Army Ranger. After that, his career was in the baking industry. He spent most of this time working at Westco in Pico Rivera, Ca. where he met many life long friends. Upon retiring in 2004, Allan relocated to Grants Pass, Or. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, and most of all, travelling in his precious RV.

He leaves behind his wife, Kathy, his dog, Babe, Aunt Betty Curtis, many cousins, in-laws, but, a very special bond he had with Brother-in-law, Tim Eaton, and cousins, Steve Schmidt & Nancy Freas. No services are planned. His cremains will be spread along the Oregon Coast at a future date. May he rest in Eternal Peace.
