Dennis Wayne Morgan, 69, a resident of Grants Pass, Oregon for forty-five years died on September 29, 2018. Dennis was the son of Betty Howser and Ike Morgan and was born in San Jose, California. He and Margie moved to Oregon in 1973 and spent 31 years in the Shan Creek / Riverbanks Road area. In 2004 they moved into town and he enjoyed 14 years there, restoring an old home and diligently attending his well-kept yard. He enjoyed walking his dogs Grady and Maggie in the park, enjoyed fireworks, but his all-time greatest love was salmon and steelhead fishing on the Rogue. He was known for being an exceptional fisherman. He also loved to spend time at the ocean. For 18 years until he retired, he drove truck for A&M Transport. Dennis left behind Margie who spent the last 51 years at his side.

He is survived by his son David Morgan and daughter-in-law Tiese Morgan, two grandchildren, Kyndra Wiebe and Caleb Morgan, his siblings Linda Chenault, Sally, Mary and Alan Howser: also, his many loved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Wesley Morgan.

Dennis requested no services with a private scattering of his ashes.
