Dorothy Virginia Cook

Dorothy Virginia Cook, 76, of Grants Pass passed away November 22, 2015 at Grandmas Lodge Care Facility in Grants Pass, Oregon. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Milwaukee, WI, on Friday, December 4. Dorothy was born on March 7, 1939 in Felch, Michigan to Lennart and Emelia Sundquist. She was raised in Manitowoc, WI. Dorothy graduated from Lincoln High School in 1957 and later attained an Associate's degree, becoming an administrative assistant for the accounting firm Chortek & Gottschalk where she worked for thirty years. Dorothy, or ‘Dottie' as she was known by her loved ones, Married Robert Cook on January 20th, 1980. Together they settled in Milwaukee, WI. Dorothy retired to Grants Pass in 2010. She enjoyed traveling, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her sister, Louise Sundquist of New Berlin, Wisconsin; Daughters, Ginny Stegemiller of Grants Pass, Oregon, Sue Carbine of West Bend, Wisconsin and Monica Cook of Beloit, Wisconsin; Son, Jason Bock of Shakopee, Minnesota; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Robert Cook in January of 2000, and two brothers, Don Sundquist in 1975 and Paul Sundquist in 2014.
