Dorothy Faye Warkentin

Dorothy Faye Warkentin, 96 of Grants Pass went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, January 7, 2018. Celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018, 2:00 PM at River Valley Community Church with Pastor Mark Goens officiating. Dorothy was born on July 19, 1921 in Elgin, Oklahoma to Thomas and Ida Hayes. She worked for 25 years as a pharmacy technician in Tracy, California. Dorothy loved God. She enjoyed spending time with her family, church family and friends. She was a member of River Valley Community Church. Dorothy lived life for God and family. Survivors include her daughter Janice Paul of Grants Pass; son Michael Miller of El Cerrito, CA; brother Jack Hayes of Roseburg, Oregon; granddaughter Carrie Allen Tancredi of Cullman, Alabama; grandson Michael Scott Allen of Woodinville, Washington; four great granddaughter's Shelby Tancredi, Jennifer Tancredi, Lauren Tancredi and Alysa Tancredi of Cullman, Alabama. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Wes Warkentin of San Jose, CA in 1975; brother Hoyt Hayes of Concord, CA and Wanda Smith of Purdy, Oklahoma.
