(Ellen) Marie Baldwin, 76 of Grants Pass left this earthly plane on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at her residence in Grants Pass, in the arms of her daughter with her husband nearby. She is survived by her husband, Geoff, her daughter, Dawn De Harmony, her grandson Brycen Allen and her brother Bob Haynes. Marie grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to Southern California in 1970. In 1977 she moved her daughter to Reno, Nevada where she got a job at Reno-Sparks Indian Colony and met Geoff. In 1982 they moved to Grants Pass, Oregon. Here, she was an office manager for a local attorney before starting her own pet and house-sitting business, "Pets and Plants." She loved animals and got great joy from taking care of others' pets when they went on vacation. She retired from her business after 30 years at the age of 70. She spent the last 6 years of her life at home in the care of her husband. Marie's favorite pastimes included van camping the various beaches in Coos County, dancing, gardening, cooking, working, yard saleing, being with her grandson and throwing parties.

To honor Marie's memory, we will have a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 27th from 3 to 6 pm at her residence.
