Gary Wayne Dion

Gary Wayne Dion was born on September 22, 1957 in Central Falls, Rhode Island, to Russell and Norma Dion. He grew up in Redondo Beach, California, and on December 25, 1992, Gary married Dauphine Smith in Montebello. 
    Gary and Dauphine moved from Torrance, California to Grants Pass, Oregon, and have been there ever since. They had four children together: Daniel, Matthew, Nathan, and Katherine. 
    Gary was an outdoorsman who enjoyed slot cars, motorcycles, and scooters. He liked to work with his hands and fix odds and ends, but also had a soft spot for cats. 
    Gary passed away at home in Grants Pass on November 11, 2022, and is survived by his wife, Dauphine Smith-Dion; his children, Daniel, Matthew, Nathan, and Katherine Dion; his sisters, Debbie Rickwald and Wendy Laney; and his twin brother, Glenn Dion.
