Georgann Ty Proctor

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Georgann Ty Proctor, who left this world on March 29, 2024. Ty was born on February 7, 1946, in Grants Pass, Oregon. Her parents were George and Eleanor Proctor, and she had one brother, Peter Proctor.

Throughout her life, Ty touched the hearts of many and considered the special people in her life as an extension of her own family. She built lasting relationships with her neighbors at her apartment complex on D Street, her favorite radio personalities at KAJO, and the warm staff at the Powderhorn Cafe, where she was a familiar face. When Ty moved to Brookdale Senior Living she immediately felt at home with the staff and fellow residents. She was especially grateful for her caregiver, Tammy, and her beloved kitties, Boots, Julius, and Lola. Though she may be gone, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Rest in peace, dear Ty.
