Irene Parsons (Davis), passed on to her heavenly home on 4/30/2016 in Grants Pass,Oregon at 72 yrs old after battling with a myriad of health issues during the last 7 years. Born in San Pedro, CA, to Jeff Davis and Milda Ann Redwine on 12/26/1943. Irene was very creative and artsy and loved sharing her talents with others. She painted several murals over the years that hang above baptistries in sister churches. She over the years played piano, viola, and then added harmonica in 1995. She was saved as a teenager at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Donaldson, AR and remained faithful to her Lord for the rest of her life. Among her hobbies she enjoyed crocheting hats for the cancer center. She met Terry in 1965 in Lomita, CA at the Lomita Missionary Baptist Church. They married 2 years later in Malvern, AR in her parents home on 4/28/1967. She is survived by Terry Lee, her husband of 49 years; Son Joel and wife Cari (Dietrich) of Roseburg, OR; daughter Rebeckah and husband Bryan Self of Grants Pass,OR; twin sister Jean (Davis) Miller and husband Fred of Pasadena, MD; brother Paul Davis of Donaldson, AR; brotherin- law Vernon Classen of Golden Valley, AZ, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins and one aunt: Fern (Shinn) Davis of Bismarck, AR, as well as a multitude of friends and brothers and sisters in Christ. Preceded in death by father Jeff Davis, mother Milda Ann Davis, sister Shirley Ann (Davis) Classen, son Mica, many aunts, uncles, some cousins and a nephew. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at Grants Pass Missionary Baptist Church at 2200 Merlin Road, Grants Pass,OR 97526 on 5/21/2016 at 11am. Pastor Milton Hayes officiating. A private internment was held at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
