Jennece Evaleen Carter
With our deepest sympathies, we announce the passing of Jennece Evaleen Carter. Jennece passed away in the comfort of her home in the early evening of January 20, 2020, surrounded by loved ones.
She was born, raised, and grew into her early 20s in Los Banos, California. She later met Mike Nunley, and together they had three children. Jennece was later blessed with three grandchildren, and she loved them dearly. In the 90s, Jennece worked for the Smoke Shop Tavern, and in the 2000s, the Redwood Motel. In 2019, she worked for Harry & David®. Jennece loved the beach, dancing, camping, and listening to oldies while enjoying a beer. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Darlene and Charles David Carter of Los Banos, California; as well as her granddaughter, Haley Nunley of Bakersfield, California. She is survived by her soulmate, Robert Tomlin of Medford, Oregon; son and daughter, Michael Nunley and Kristi Leigh Nunley of Bakersfield, California; daughter, Angela Michelle Bumgarner and husband, Ronald Bumgarner of Grants Pass, Oregon; daughter-in-law, Amanda Michelle Nunley of Bakersfield, California; brother and sister, Mark Carter of Medford, Oregon, and Kimberly Cooney of Lake Tahoe, California; and three loving grandsons, Austin and Jaxon Nunley of Bakersfield, California, and Makai Shields of Grants Pass, Oregon. Jennece was cherished by so many, and will remain forever in
the hearts of her loved ones.
