Judy Jean Reedy

Judy Jean Reedy, 78, of Grants Pass died Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at her home. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 27, 2020, at 3 p.m. at Stephens Family Chapel. Judy was born July 7, 1941, in

Hewitt, Minnesota, to Dale and Grace (Rasmussen) Gilmer. The family later moved to California.

On June 21, 1971, Judy married Randy Reedy. They had two children. In 1976, they moved to Grants Pass. Judy began working at Diamond Cabinets (now Masterbrand) in 1978, where she held several positions, until she eventually retired in 2006. She also assisted Randy with his wood working company, selling clocks and other wood products, as well as volunteered at the local Food Bank. She adopted her dog, Ace, in 2014. He had been her constant companion ever since. Judy enjoyed taking Ace to the dog

park, spending time with her family and eating ice cream. Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Randy, in 2013; her parents; her brother, Bob, and two sisters, Margaret and Penny. Survivors include her son, Richard and wife, Summer Reedy of Grants Pass; daughter, Cheryl and husband, Jeff Chap-
