Leslie Ann Innes

Leslie Ann Innes, 65, of Grants Pass, Oregon, formerly of New Buffalo passed into the arms of her Lord June 14, 2018. She was surrounded at home with her family at her side. She was born September 24, 1952 in Gary, Indiana the second daughter of John and Laura Smith, who preceded her in death. On July 2, 1984 she married her soul mate, James Innes, who survives. Also surviving are her sons, Brent (Stephanie) Smith, Grants Pass and John Olson, Austin, Texas. Sisters Jacki Henry, Michigan City, IN and Christine (Mike) Crakes, Three Oaks, MI; and a brother Lewis (Sharon) Smith of New Buffalo. Her grandchildren, Cassie, Shelby, Devin, Emma and Ethan and great-grandchildren, Alex, Oaklee and Lincoln. Along with Leslie's many, many friends. Leslie and Jim moved to Oregon in 1999 and spent the last 20 years of her life dedicated to caring for her elderly peeps in her home. She always had time to keep in touch with her family and friends. She was dedicated to her church and belonged to Alter and Rosary Society, selflessly giving of herself to everyone's needs. She loved her sewing craft and her fur babies Peety and Poppy. Family and friends will gather at 10:30 am for the Rosary and 11 am for Mass on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1131 NE 10th St., Grants Pass, Oregon 97526 to celebrate Leslie's life. Following Mass there will be a luncheon from 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm at The Fruitdale Grange, 1440 Parkdale Dr., Grants Pass.
