Martin Arthur Francis passed away from this life into everlasting life on October 17, 2025 at his residence in Grants Pass, Oregon. His parents were Ralph and Maxine Francis. He was 68 years old at the time. Martin leaves behind his three brothers, Lynn, Thomas, and Larry, and his two sisters, Terry and Mary. He was a very good brother to all of us and a very good friend, and we will all miss him dearly. Thank you, Martin...
Martin was born at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, but grew up in El Mirage, Arizona. He graduated from Dysart High School in 1975 and then moved to California in 1979 with his brother, Thomas.
Martin loved to hike and he was hiking crazy as he loved the outdoor country scene. He was always a hard worker that eventually landed him jobs at UCLA and The Towers of Century City as a Service Engineer and worked both jobs until he retired.
If you hated him or loved him, at the end of the day, you always knew he was sincere and meant well, as he had a caring heart and helped many people with his generosity. He was a meditator and read the Bible almost daily. His favorite Bible verse was "Be Still and Know that I am God."
Martin met Roy Masters shortly after he moved to California in the early 80's, where he became an avid supporter of the Foundation of Human Understanding (FHU).
Martin served in the Military with the Marines from 1980 through 1988 as a Reservist and served Active duty times as well. He was a Field Radio Operator and was awarded a medal: a Rifle Sharpshooter Badge. He wanted to serve under Ronald Reagan and that's what he did. He was a great patriot of this great country, and loved being an American.
We will all surely miss him, both his family and friends. God bless you, Martin, my forever brother!
