Michael L. Cathey, 55, of Grants Pass died Wednesday, June 15, 2010, at his home. No services are planned at this time He was born Michael Laurets Cathey on March 22, 1955 in Crescent City, California to Raymond and Carol Cathey. Michael served in the United States Air Force from 1974 until his honorable discharge in 1974. In 2002 he moved to Grants Pass from Sonoma County in California. Michael worked for many years as a truck driver. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed flying. Survivors include his sister Alison Pigoni and her partner Ed Skinner of Grants Pass. He was preceded in death by his parents.
