Michele L. Armijo

Michele L. "Shelly" Armijo, 43, of Grants Pass died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at her home. A celebration of life will be held Nov. 6 at 2 p.m. at her mother's home, 2497 Midway Ave., Grants Pass. She was born Aug. 17, 1967, in Grants Pass to John and Cheri Armijo. She was raised in Grants Pass and attended Hidden Valley High School. At age 16, it was discovered that she had a brain tumor. She enjoyed taking walks with her husband, attending church, playing pool, working circle word puzzles and playing cribbage. In addition to her husband, Hank Allen, survivors include a son, Kyle Armijo of Grants Pass; her mother, Cheri Shelley of Grants Pass; her father and stepmother, John and Robyn Armijo of Grants Pass; three sisters, Lori Yeust of Canyonville, Victoria Armijo of California, and Marie Armijo of Hawaii; and two brothers, John Armijo of Colorado, and Jessie Armijo of California.
