Renee A. Peterson passed away peacefully in her home on April 28, 2024 and into the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. Renee was born to Alta Stamm/Montgomery and John Albert Clark in Yacolt, Washington on May 27, 1933. In college she majored in theology and music. Since moving to Rogue River, Oregon, over 40 years ago, she immediately began what was to become many years of local volunteer work including the Chamber of Commerce, Woodville Museum, Community Center, founder of a local group called TOPS-Take off Pounds Sensibly, coordinating local fundraisers and Food Bank donations, and she founded a local chapter of the Red Hats Ladies (River Belles.) She attributed most of her success and what she did to her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
