Rex Garriott, 87, of Grants Pass, died at his home in Grants Pass, OR Sunday May 15th 2011. He was born in Fall River, Kansas October 17, 1923. Rex served in WWII in the US Army in Luzon, Philippine Islands. He enjoyed being with friends and family, traveling, boating on Lake Shasta, dancing and horses! He retired from the trucking business in 1992. His wife Marie, and eight children survive him. Four sons, Barney Garriott of Bend, OR, Marty Garriott Springfield, OR, Phil Garriott, Littleton, CO, and Mike Satron, Portland, OR. Four daughters, Rexene Santos of Roseburg, OR, Francie Davis of Roseburg, OR, Sherry Jarman of Myrtle Creek, OR, and Susan Meyer of Grants Pass, OR. Seventeen Grandchildren and 16 Great grandchildren.
