On the 5 th of July, Roman Charles Duncan left this Earth at the age of 21 to be with his mother Shannon Horton & grandfather Charles Horton. Romany was many things. Not only an inspiration to all who touched his life, but a big brother, cousin, son, mentor, but most importantly - a best friend. His love for life, music, and cars will always live through us..those who were blessed enough to know him.
Roman was a brilliant musician with a vast knowledge and love for anything with a motor. He once said that he had gasoline running through his veins. Despite this tragedy, Roman will never be forgotten. He is survived by his father, Roshoun Duncan, bonus-mother Michelle Motley, brothers Roland and Anthony Duncan, sister Alyssa Duncan, and bonus brother and sister Jhon and Jocelynn Southamavong; grandmother, Debra Carbajal; great-grandparents, Maria and Jess Carbajal.
In a dark world, Roman was the bright light in the lives of those who knew him. His perseverance and endurance allowed Roman to overcome obstacles throughout his life. It is because of this determination that many are stronger because of him.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 27, at 2 pm in the boy
scout area of Lake Selmac. The celebration is going to be a potluck - dishes would be greatly
appreciated. Come join us celebrate Roman's Life!
