Thomas (Tom) Brockbank age 77 passed away on March 11, 2020 in Roseburg, OR surrounded by his wife and stepdaughters.
He was born March 13, 1942 in Brooklyn NY and grew up in Southern California. Tom worked briefly at General Motors and after graduating Lakewood High School attended college for a short time in Long Beach. Eventually, he went on to work for United Parcel Service for 32 years, driving in Long Beach, CA, Medford, Grants Pass and Williams, OR, along with other parts of the state.
In 1978 he married Carol. They made their home in Grants Pass where he stepped up to help raise Carol's 3 daughters, and there was never a dull moment!
His many hobbies included collecting HO scale trains, participating in baseball, basketball, bowling and golf. He was also a member of the Eagles Lodge 2146 for 10 years.
Tom is survived by wife Carol, stepdaughters Jennifer (Ed) Randles, Julie Roser, Judy (Lance) Baker, 2 sons Jim (Lori) and Rick. He also has 2 brothers, Bob (Karen), Rich (Susie), sister Ellen (Ray) Ramirez. Tom also enjoyed his 5 grandkids, 4 great grandkids and many, many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
