William Estel Jarrett

William Estel Jarrett, 68 of Grants Pass, passed away August 5, 2014 at his residence. The family is not planning a service at this time. He spent most of his childhood life there where he attended schools in Galt, California and worked in the family hay hauling business. He met Lois G. Wahl and they married June 3, 1963. They divorced in 1986. In February 1964, they moved to Grants Pass where Mr. Jarrett worked in the plywood industry until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and prior to his death, enjoyed and appreciated his friends who visited him often in his home. Survivors include his son, Michael Jarrett of Grants Pass, OR; daughter, Michelle Gilkey of Tigard, OR; brother, Eddie Jarrett of Longview, WA; sisters, Bonnie Jarrett of Longview, WA and Ellen Sanderman of Battle Mountain, NV and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Abbie Jarrett.
