William Donald McLean

William Donald McLean, 81 of Grants Pass passed away August 21, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, Washington. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Stephens Family Chapel A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, 1:00pm at Faith Baptist Church, with Pastor Steve Burman officiating. Private Interment will be at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. William was born on October 10, 1930 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Ross and Lucille McLean. He graduated from Castlemont High School. On July 22, 1949 he married Nancy Robertson at Trinity Baptist Church in Oakland, California. They moved to Grants Pass in 1986 from Alamo, California. William worked many years for Crowley Maritime as Vice President. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Grants Pass, Oregon and the Grants Pass Golf Club. He enjoyed walking with the Lord, spending time with his family and golfing. In addition to his wife, survivors include his son, Robert; two daughters, Karen and Janis; a brother, Tom; two sisters, Patricia and Elagrace; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 16 nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by two of his sisters, Doris and Sara.
