Obituary

Allan Richard Simon, 65, of Grants Pass, Oregon passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at his residence.

Allan was born February 7, 1956 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Richard and Lois Simon. He grew up in Huntington Beach, California where he met Beth Werry. The two fell in love and married August 23, 1986 in San Pedro, California. He honorably served in the Army 1974 to 1975. Allan served his country and was also a faithful servant to God, attending Calvary Lutheran Church in Grants Pass. For employment, Allan worked in the automotive industry and then forklift parts sales. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and RC Models. He was a member of the Rogue Valley Flyers where he flew RC crafts.

Allan is survived by his loving wife, Beth Simon; two sons, David and Shawn Simon; daughter, Desiree Ferguson; and 9 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his son, Andrew Simon, who passed away June 9, 2015.
